About

CADCraft is an open-source computer-aided design and drafting application written in pure Rust by the ArtCraft team — a modern, clean-room take on the classic AutoCAD workflow.

The drafting side covers the essentials: a command line, object snaps, layers, dimensions, hatches, blocks and tables, organized around the DXF and DWG drawings you already have.

There's a 3D modeling tab for solids, and finished drawings can be arranged on paper layouts for plotting.

It ships as a native universal macOS app (DMG and Homebrew cask), and also runs on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and in the browser via WebAssembly. The project is young — v0.8.0, officially tagged “early development” — so expect rough edges, but the iteration pace is unusually fast.
